Record Year for Bay Area Apartment Association’s Annual Volleyball Tournament Benefiting the Children’s Home Network

St. Pete Beach, Fla., April 13, 2018 – Fifty teams competed for first place at the Bay Area Apartment Association’s 8th Annual Spikes for Tykes Volleyball Tournament on Friday, April 13th, at Post Card Inn on St. Pete Beach, benefitting the Children’s Home Network in Tampa.

The Children’s Home Network is Tampa’s oldest, and continuously running non-profit that is improving lives and changing life stories of abused, neglected and abandoned children. At its residential campus on Memorial Highway, the Children’s Home Network provides a safe, healing environment to help boys and girls who have experienced trauma. More than 25,000 children and families benefit each year through Children’s Home Network programs.

The Bay Area Apartment Association is committed to giving back to children and families in the Tampa Bay community. Sponsors, players and spectators collaboratively raised over $11,000 in support of the Children’s Home Network.
