Children's Home Network has been featured in many publications over the years. Here are a few recent articles about our organization, the services we provide, and the wonderful support we have received from our community.
The Children’s Home is launching a new and faster faith-based foster parent-training program for families who are committed to helping foster children in Osceola County.
Prior to this expedited training program, the original curriculum took 11 weeks for prospective families to complete the foster parent training.
The new curriculum will take only four consecutive Saturdays.
A couple dozen of the thousands of undocumented children and teenagers from Central America who have crossed into the United States in recent months might soon be housed in Hillsborough County.
Over its 100-plus years of existence, The Children’s Home in Tampa has often been named a beneficiary in the wills of people who were touched by the organization’s work on behalf of abused, neglected or abandoned children and families.
On Thursday, though, The Children’s Home received a posthumous gift in a roundabout way. Florida’s chief financial officer, Jeff Atwater, presented Children’s Home board members with a check for $395,000 from the state’s unclaimed property account.
