9-year-old Heather arrived at the Children’s Home Network in the fall of 2017, after being removed from her mother’s care due to physical abuse and domestic violence. Emotionally afraid, and physically fragile, Heather was in desperate need of a new path - a path of healing, support, and guidance.
Children like Heather who have experienced abuse, neglect and abandonment do not have the support of a stable, loving parents, like many of us do. Their turning point comes when they enter the doors of the Children’s Home Network. It is the beginning of a journey to leave despair behind, and find hope.
The Children’s Home Network is offering a special way to appreciate your beloved parents, grandparents, relatives, friends, mentors or any special person in your life.
Honor that special someone and show how much you appreciate all they have done for you by dedicating a brick in their honor on the Path to New Beginnings! The Path to New Beginnings is a brick walkway leading to the entrance of the administration building on our main campus. This path was constructed to symbolize the path at-risk children take from sadness to hope and to honor those who help them get there.
At the Children’s Home Network, we are dedicated to helping heal the hearts of traumatized children. Your generosity will help fund programs that provide boys and girls the academic, behavioral, emotional and therapeutic services they need to heal and thrive.
