Healing The Trauma of Abuse & Neglect
The tradition of love sparked more than a century ago continues to be our driving force to protect, nurture and care for children who are victims of abuse, neglect or abandonment. Since 1892, we have focused on children who have fallen victim to abuse and neglect through services that heal the trauma of their circumstances and help them love again. These services touch the lives of over 850 individuals and include our residential healing campus, outpatient infant, child and family mental health services, and new innovative ways to help children and families heal. We help to heal through two main avenues: residential treatment and community counseling.
Our Children's Home Network main campus is the site of Kid's Village - our residential healing program. Here, children ages 5-17 reside in our care as we provide them with support for healing from abusive or neglectful situations.
